What is Frye Concepts?

Background

Born inthe 'Kolenpott' with a Dutch mother and a German father. Bilingual raised between steel mills and coal mines, in an urban environment with a large green mold around the cities. Thiswas my home in my early childhood. My cities were not formed around churches, but around factories. Each skyline even higher than the next, each factory even more majestic and architecturally sound than the next. And when it all became faded glory, it was my playground and the green mold was an oasis of peace and awareness.

Arrived in the Netherlands and landed in ‘de Brabantse gezelligheid’(coziness of Noord-Brabant), the small urban and green villages, the 'disneyfication' of the landscape increased, and cities transformed from a manufacturing to a knowledge and experience economy, where creativity is the key word was for development and innovation.
New opportunities emerged for our old icons and the transformation to a knowledge and experience economy is now the base for a new way of (re-)developing our property and the development of cities, areas, buildings and its people.

Imagining these environments is my passion and my work.
